On Friday May 28 2010 Lester (1,5 years old) was hospitalized. He is having fever for a whole month now. An X-ray of the lungs has been made and this showed he has severe pneumonia. The antibiotics he received did not work, and therefore he was hospitalized. Apart from the fever and the pneumonia Lester is malnourished too.
The costs of the hospitalization and the medication are estimated at 200 euro’s. Sparrow hopes to raise this amount as soon as possible to be able to provide Lester with the medical care he needs.
Today we visited Lester. He was laughing and very active. He looks healthy again. In the first week of august we will go to doctor again for a check up.
