Last Sunday Dennis suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. He was one of the two first students sponsored by Sparrow. This was the fourth year we sponsored him and this year he would have graduated for his study Hotel and Tourism Management.
We knew Dennis as a very grateful boy. To show his thankfulness for his sponsorship he now and then went by to do some chores. Dennis was also very helpful towards his family. When we visited him at home he often helped his mother or father with something. He promised his younger sister this year to make it possible for her to study too, as soon as he would have finished his study and found a job.
Last Sunday he unexpectedly died because of an heart attack. His family presumes he has had complaints before, but did not want to tell them because they do not have money to pay for medical costs. Dennis was 20 years old. We wish his family a lot of strength and hope they will experience God’s close presence in this difficult situation.
