For the children in Lazareto, Christmas is not a celebration with delicious food and presents. Therefore Sparrow wanted to organize a Christmas celebration for her sponsor children. A celebration with a narration of the Christmas story, Christmas songs and funny games. And of course a delicious Christmas dinner and a present for everyone.
This celebration was scheduled for Tuesday December 22. Two volunteers, Lolly and Maria, were busy all morning to make a delicious meal, which was also healthy, because of the extra vegetables. We organized several games, like a relay race and a game in which the children tried to pierce each other’s balloons. With every game the children could win a prize. It was a wonderful day and the children clearly enjoyed it!
