With our Study Center we want to create a place to study in a safe environment and with all the necessary facilities. All of our students live below the poverty line. The houses they live in are dark and there is no quiet place where they can do their homework or learn for an exam. On the street there is a lot of drinking and gambling. This makes it hard for students to find a safe and quiet place to learn.
For these students we want to set up a Study Center. A place where they can go after school to learn and do their homework. In the Study Center there will be facilities like computers and Sparrow staff to help them and listen to them when needed.
We are currently renting a renovated house near by the school for 250 euros a month. We are looking for people who want to donate for furniture, decor, computers etc., as well as monthly donors for operating costs.
